Frequently asked questions

Three things: an episode link from Apple Podcasts, SoundCloud, Omny, voiced.ca or YouTube (we fetch that episode's audio for you), a direct link to an .mp3 or .m4a file, or an uploaded audio file (MP3, M4A, WAV or OGG up to 200 MB).

Episodes up to about 3 hours work well. Transcription takes a few minutes for a long episode. The page keeps checking and shows the result the moment it's ready, so keep the tab open.

Not directly. Spotify doesn't expose episode audio to other apps. Most shows are also on Apple Podcasts, so search the show there and paste that link. For Spotify-exclusive shows, upload the audio file if you have it.

Uploaded files are deleted from our servers immediately after processing, success or failure. The transcript and summary are kept so you can come back to them; audio never is.

Yes. Every summary comes with the full transcript underneath it, free, and you can copy either with one click. The summary is written in the language you use the site in; the episode itself can be in any language.
